Oh man - I’m keeping this secret for a while now and finally I can reveal it- yeahh - I’m going to Barcelona, Spain in September to teach workshops there on the 19th! The wonderful Lisa Mitchell has invited me to come and teach. So here is my spanish version of workshop description!

Oh man - dieses Geheimnis trage ich ja nun eine Weile mit mir rum, aber endlich kann ich davon auszählen - yeahh - ich werde im September in Barcelona Workshops geben und zwar am 19! Die wundervolle Lisa Mitchell hat mich eingeladen zu kommen. Also hier dann meine spanische Workshopbeschreibung !

Taller 1: Taller “ETERNAL LOVE” (Amor eternal)

En este taller Prima vas a crear una página con muchas técnicas divertidas y llenas de inspiración. Utilizaras una foto de ti y tu/s ser/es querido/os o si quieres, una foto de boda heritage para destacar una relación en una manera romántica y a la vez moderna.
Trabajaras con productos de Prima Marketing, tinta de alcohol Ranger, pintura acrílica y hojas de metal…todo explorando maneras para emplearlos en la creación de tus piezas artísticas únicas.
Estas técnicas, ya que son muy versátiles, los podrás emplear en muchas maneras en futuros proyectos. Nat te enseñará como transformar fácilmente a tu página en un objeto decorativo para montar en la pared, así creando una pieza que destacará en tu hogar.

Todo material y media se facilitará en el estudio dónde se realiza el taller. Una lista de herramientas y material adicional que los participantes habrán que traer consigo se facilitará una vez confirmados la asistencia, ya más cerca a fechas del taller

Taller 2: “Álbum tributo”:

Hay personas especiales en la vida de cada una de nosotros, personas a quien valoramos mucho. En este taller tendremos la oportunidad de honrarlas a la manera de cada una y uno con su propio álbum tributo personalizado.

En este taller Prima, vamos a dar una vuelta pero sin saber exactamente como se va a terminar. Nat te enseñará técnicas divertidas y picaras con las tintas de alcohol y polvos de embossing que te van a dejar sorprendidas y dar un toque único a tu tributo especial. En tu kit de taller también encontrarás productos Prima que se puede emplear en maneras únicas y versátiles.

Todo material y media se facilitará en el estudio dónde se realiza el taller. Una lista de herramientas y material adicional que los participantes habrán que traer consigo se facilitará una vez confirmados la asistencia, ya más cerca de fechas del taller.

Precio por taller: 55 €
Cada taller tiene una duración de 3 horas.

When I heard Cosmo Cricket  has a design team call, I was really happy. Way back in 2006 I taught my very first workshops in Berlin with their papers and have been eyeing their products ever since. I would love to be on their design team because I love the uniqueness of their papers and other products and how they inspire me to scrap out of the box. Als ich hörte, dass Cosmo Cricket einen Designteam Call hat, war ich echt ganz schön happy. Schon bei meinem allerersten Workshop in Berlin habe ich Cosmo Cricket Papiere benutzt und die Produkte seitdem immer wieder gerne benutzt. So honored that I was asked to be guest designer on the Scrapping the Music Germany blog. And the song is Nina Hagen’s “Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen” (You forgot the technicolor) A really cool song from the 70s. I chose a photo of Anja who does an awesome job on sewing victorian dresses.

For the last nights I have been creating a project- just for myself, no boundaries and the outcome is so me and makes me sooo happy…I’m anxious to show it to you because it is so dear to my heart! It was so much fun to work with this Prima Canvas Album designed by Donna Downey.

Die letzten Nächte habe ich an einem Projekt nur für mich gearbeitet - ohne Regeln oder Einschränkungen und das was rausgekommen ist, ist einfach mein Ding und macht mich unglaublich happy…ich bin etwas ängstlich es Euch zu zeigen, weil es mir halt so am Herzen liegt! Es hat echt total viel Spaß gemacht mit diesem Prima Canvas Album designed von Donna Downey zu arbeiten.

*Street Art Album*

Worked on the cover with my brayer techniques - and used the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paints- yummie stuff!

I mixed the canvas pages with the page protector pages - but used the page protector pages as fun inlays.

On the inside cover I used Clear embossing powder for the resist technique and then sprayed Ranger’s Color Washes on top.

I used Ranger Grungeboard Tiles and painted them as a base for the photo.

I used Prima Clear Paintables inside the page protectors and used the new Ranger Alcohol Ink Pens to color them in beforehand.

For this page I used my beloved Caran d’Ache Neocolors II.

I stamped the Grungeboard Letters with my favorite Tim Holtz Stamp - love the outcome.

I stitchted through the page protector sheet here partly with out thread

Here I used a Gesso Base and then different paint mediums- Color Wash, Acrylic Paints, Neocolors II

For this page- taken in Paris - I used eyelets and punched them right through the canvas. I do not show the actual page- LOL -since the page protector covers the maybe some people offending part

here are some closer shots of the page protectors so you see how they were treated - I sew, as said used the Clear Paintables inside and stitched like a crazy woman - well of course the wonderful pre stitched Prima Papers add to the look.

This is  Christiane and it is an old photo of her. The Title is a joke that can’t really be translated. It is a fun form to say that you should pet an animal- I altered the background of the photo with watersoluble crayons and doodled a lot to blend all the different papers and patterns together.

As some of you know my husband went to Australia to work for ten days. I turned down the opportunity to go too, cause I had a lot of work to accomplish and I also didn’t want to spent the whole time alone in Sydney. But when my husband came back and had all those little videos recorded with our flip I regret it a lot OH well…LOL - but I want to share the video with you - it is not all interesting for outsiders but I like the part with the animals a lot

Wie einige von Euch wissen, mußte mein Mann  zehn Tage in Australien arbeiten. Ich habe die Gelegenheit mitzukommen, nicht genutzt, weil ich zum einen eine Menge Arbeit zu erledigen hatte und zum anderen wollte ich nicht zehn Tage alleine in Sydney rumhängen. Als mein Mann aber mit lauter kleinen Videos auf der Flip zurückkam, habe ich es doch bereut, nicht mitgeflogen zu sein Nun ja- LOL - aber ich wollte das Video mit Euch teilen. Nicht alles darin ist für Außenstehende interessant, aber mir gefällt der Mittelteil mit den knuffigen Tieren so gut

*ETERNAL LOVE*

In diesem Prima Workshop wirst Du mit viel Spaß und inspirierenden Techniken ein Layout kreieren. Benutze ein Photo von Dir und Deinem/Deinen Liebsten oder sogar ein Heritage Hochzeitsphoto, um eine besondere Beziehung in romantischer aber moderner Weise zu würdigen. Du wirst mit vielen Prima Marketing Produkten, Alchol Inks, Acrylfarben und Folie arbeiten und interessante Wege kennenlernen, diese Medien für ein einzigartes Layout zu verwenden. Die Techniken, die Du in diesem Workshop erlernen wirst, sind vielseitig und können auch in anderen, zukünftigen Projekten angewandt werden. Nat wird Dir auch zeigen, wie Du Dein Layout mit einfachen Mitteln in ein Wandbild verwandeln kannst, welches einen schönen Hingucker in Deinem Heim darstellen kann.

Alle Workshopmaterialien und Medien werden im Workshop vorhanden sein. Eine Liste mitzubringender Werkzeuge und zusätzlichem Zubehör wird rechtzeitig vor dem Event zur Verfügung gestellt.

In diesem Prima Workshop wirst Du eine kleine „Rundfahrt“ machen, welche Überraschungen diese Reise birgt, weiß man nicht. Since I retired my Prima Make It Flatter Workshop I thought I could show you some of the layouts. The workshop was mainly about how to alter backgrounds of photos in different ways with different media.

Nachdem ich nun meinen Prima Make It Flatter Workshop in Pension geschickt habe ;), dachte ich mir ich könnte Euch ein paar der  Layouts hierzu mal zeigen. Im Workshop selbst ging es hauptsächlich darum, wie man Photo-Hintergründe mit verschiedenen Medien gestalten kann.
